Can I use the app to add notes to a person's record?
Yes, and you can view existing notes as well.
Can I assign a picture to the person's record in Arena?
Yes, you can choose to take a picture on the spot or assign an existing image from your iPhone's Camera Roll.
How can I communicate with my membership?
You can send an e-mail, send an SMS Text or call any of the phone numbers on their records.
What about mapping their addresses?
The Arena iPhone app utilizes Google™ Maps to map addresses and provide driving directions.
How secure is the app?
Arena's iPhone app only has access to your church's database and respects the security permissions of the person who is logged in.
How long does it take to sync?
It only takes seconds to install and configure the app. The data resides on your church’s server so there is no wait time for syncing.
Can I adjust the amount of information that is downloaded to the iPhone?
The amount of information is decided by your level of access. If you have permissions to all data, all will be accessible. On the other hand, if you have a limited set of permissions, only the info you have rights to view/edit will be available. This is controlled by the your church administrator.
Can I use the app offline or in Airplane Mode?
No, you must have a live connection to the internet.
Will Arena update the software or add new features to the Arena iPhone app?
Yes, planned enhancements include the ability to view the person's Group involvement, Volunteer positions and Tags.
